If you ever want to brush your teeth again, proceed with caution while watching this pop. In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper—aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—pops a cheek cyst filled with white goopy contents. When the gunk is finally squeezed out, it looks strongly like some minty toothpaste.

In the clip, Dr. Lee makes an incision into the patient’s cheek cyst with a surgical blade. The cyst’s contents can’t wait to burst out, beginning to leak free before Dr. Lee even gives the patient’s cheek a squeeze. But once she does apply pressure to the mass, the white goop inside the cyst comes squirting out like toothpaste.

“I’ll never look at toothpaste the same,” one fan commented on the clip. Another fan got even more specific, adding, “It looks like Crest…”

Even Dr. Lee could see the resemblance, captioning the video, “Need some toothpaste?”

The growth featured in this video is likely an epidermoid cyst. This type of cyst — which is filled with wet dead skin cells and keratin — commonly occurs on the face, neck, and back. Besides often being cosmetically undesirable, epidermoid cysts can be easily irritated and tender, making removal an appealing option.
